Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Horodope (Company, we, our, us). These Terms and Conditions (Terms) constitute a legally binding agreement under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, governing your access to and use of our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the Platform). By accessing or using the Platform, you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

2. Nature of Services (Google Play–Sensitive Content Compliance)

Horodope provides astrology- and horoscope-based digital content strictly for informational, recreational, and entertainment purposes only.

  • The content does not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or psychological advice
  • Users must not make life, health, financial, or relationship decisions solely based on Platform content
  • Horodope does not claim scientific accuracy or guaranteed outcomes

This clause is incorporated to comply with Google Play Developer Policy on Sensitive Content and Astrology-based services.

3. Eligibility & User Declaration

  • Users must be at least 18 years of age
  • By using the Platform, you declare that you are legally competent to contract under Indian law
  • You acknowledge that astrology is subjective and outcomes may vary

4. User Obligations

Users agree:

  • Not to misuse, copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit Platform content
  • Not to upload unlawful, defamatory, misleading, or harmful material
  • To ensure information provided is accurate and up to date

Any violation may result in immediate suspension or termination.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property including text, graphics, logos, trademarks, software, UI/UX, and content are the exclusive property of Horodope and protected under:

  • Copyright Act, 1957
  • Trade Marks Act, 1999
  • Information Technology Act, 2000

Unauthorized use shall invite civil and criminal liability.

6. Payments & Third-Party Gateways

Payments are processed via RBI-compliant third-party gateways. Horodope does not store sensitive card or banking information.

We shall not be liable for payment failures attributable to third-party service providers.

7. Disclaimer & No Warranty

All services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Horodope expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permissible under Indian law, Horodope shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, reputation, or business.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Horodope, its founders, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising out of misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

10. Suspension & Termination

Horodope reserves the unilateral right to suspend or terminate access without prior notice for breach of Terms, misuse, or legal non-compliance.

11. Jurisdiction & Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts at New Delhi, India, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
